Tomorrow is my first official day doing my blog, but I can't help but be excited, and so naturally I am going to explain about my day....

I've been decorating my room for the last month, I originally thought it was going to be a 48 hr job, move all stuff out, 2 coats of paint, then back in. No. Not that easy. When I removed some wallpaper, plasterboard came with it. When I removed the plasterboard, some of the ceiling came with it. Now I have an empty shell of a bedroom ready to be boarded!

The cool thing was that I uncovered an old fireplace, and newspaper from April 4th 1984 had been stuffed up there to stop the soot. Is that how you spell soot?? sut? soote? I don't care, I found a Daily Mail that was nearly 30 years old, and of course went straight to the back pages and saw Liverpool top of the league. I wish I could remember the 80's - as music was good, and being a Liverpool fan must of been great watching Kenny, Rushy etc. Now we have Jordan Henderson and Jay Spearing. I do believe like music, things go full circle, so the good times will roll again soon.

Don't panic - not all of my entries will be about football, in fact, I will try and stretch myself to even look at different sporting events to increase my general knowledge.

Tonight I watched Hostel, and once again remembered what I thought about it the first time. It's rubbish. That and 'Taken'. Everyone loves that film. I don't. Apparantly it has more on screen kills than any film bar a couple. I digress - it's still a poorly acted, poorly scripted, unrealistic hit man film.

What am I on about???? Don't know how  I got onto hit man films.

Tomorrow is Day 1! Did you say White rabbits? I don't care if it's not got an R in it, you have to say white rabbits every month for good luck!

Hi all, my name is Andrew (Patrick) Maguire, but have dropped the latter name as my professional name cannot be Andrew Maguire, as that name is taken. Andrew Patrick sounds ok though hopefully. I am starting an ambitious project, and you will be able to see here what I am getting up to, everyday of the year until 31/5/13. I intend to post photos and shots of something relevant to that day, whether it is something that many of us have shared, or something only I have seen. Also, I do not fully know what the point of this 'photography' project is, and maybe I never will. All I want to do is achieve a post/blog/photo per day, every day, for a year. If I can do that, then this will be a great opportunity to increase my skills as a photographer.

I am based in Bromsgrove in the UK for those who don't know me, and the good thing about being an actor is that I get to to go to a lot of different towns and cities doing what I do. What better way to document this year.

 

The main reason I am embarking on this arty voyage is that I don't know where I'll be in 12 months, I am willing to take bets! Currently I'm not working full time, so this could be my new job. Hopefully I'll still be blogging by day 3....

 

 

I won't upload any shots just yet, as I would like to be true to my word and start on the 1/6/12.

You are bound to see pictures of my girlfriend Becky a lot, and probably, my dog, Sasha.

 

I intend to post a mixture of photos, anything from carefully planned lengthy shoots with my dslr, or a quick pic from my camera phone.
