2/6/12
Nice lie in to start this epic four day bank hoiday weekend. Bit of Friends, Two and a half men, then thought I'd get my car valeted. Went to a dodgy looking forecourt run by Turks, and for 15 quid my car looks brand new. I thought I'd go get a coffee from a well known superstore while I waited, and proceede to have the worst latte I've ever had. Fortunately though, my panini came with salad, so that cheered me up. I'm starting to like rabbit food (salad) now, as apparantly being 26 means I should eat it. If society says do it, may as well do it.
Then when I collected my car I headed home and mother has brought a massive flag, and with all the soft wood from my old walls which is now in a heap outside in the garden, instead of burning it, I have made a makeshift flag pole, and have erected it outside the porch for all to see. I know what you're thinking - how suburbanly tacky of me, but it's a bit of fun and it's the Jubilee - so why not. People in this country would rather slag off the patriots in the UK than be patriotic, saying silly things like "what does the queen do anyway?". Who cares? We have the most famous monarchy in the world - go live somewhere else if you don't like it.
See you soon.
Enjoy your Jubilee Saturday - having a few beers tonight.
Laters.
